Terry Smith (Fletch),was born on 13th April 1968.Fletch was 18 when he got his first Guitar in the same year he switched to Playing BASS and formed his first band THE PSYCHIATRIC UNIT (A 4 PIECE PLAYING PUNKED UP COVERS OF ROCK N ROLL TUNES) while at same time gigging with cashel band THE BLEEDING POETS aged 22 after returning from London  and not playing for 2 years he joined up with local rock band BARBEDWIRE love playing originals and giging mainly in southeast,until an accident in 99 causing severe injury to his left hand enforced another stop to playing,in 2002 he teamed up once again with IVAN(the psychiatric unit)and together with JOEY they formed THE SCARS.............................
